LC14 Tabouret Maison du Brésil

The model of this stool or coffee table design is prior - in its 3D composition - to the Stool of Brazil distinguished by the greater simplicity of its assemblies. Based on the concept of the "found object" dear to the maestro in the latter part of his life, it was made for the children's rooms of the Unité d'habitation de Nantes Rezé. This design piece uses simplified and minimal corner joints. The different sides, in open pore lacquered oak, feature two colors from the Le Corbusier palette. The hand holes are unrounded rectangular slots.
