The windproof garden parasol.
With a canopy of 300 to 400 cm, the Fortello belongs to the category of large garden parasols. It's specially designed for use in areas exposed to the wind. Its robust components and ingenious opposing opening principle ensure that it's easy to use. It closes in no time at all, even when the table is set (closing height from 95 to 135 cm).
The Fortello central pole parasol is so robust that even wind speeds of up to 90 km/h don't faze it. Our Swiss technological jewel is not only wind and weather resistant, it's also perfect for parties: thanks to its closing height of 95 to 135 cm, glasses, bottles, etc. remain on the table when you close the taut fabric. Fabric quality cat. 2: Fabric 100 % polyester approx. 220 g/m², colour fastness 5-6, UVPROTECTION > 98 %, easy care, stain and mildew resistant. Optimum protection against direct exposure to ultraviolet rays. Not recommended for areas exposed to wind.
Fabric quality cat. 4: Fabric 100 % polyester approx. 250 g/m², solution dyed, colour fastness 7, UVPROTECTION > 98 %, easy care, stain and mildew resistant. Optimum protection against direct exposure to ultraviolet rays. Not recommended for areas exposed to strong winds.
Fabric quality cat. 5: 100% polyacrylic fabric approx. 300 g/m², solution dyed, colour fastness 7-8, UVPROTECTION > 98%, stain, water and oil repellent, anti-mould treatment. Optimum protection against direct exposure to ultraviolet rays. Recommended for areas exposed to strong winds.
Resistance to fading (first colour changes): The higher the fabric quality (e.g. polyacrylic), the stronger the colour fastness: Level 7-8, changes from 350 to 700 days / Level 7, changes around 350 days / Level 5-6, changes from 80-160 days.
Protective cover: By using a protective cover it is possible to extend the life of the fabric and slow down the bleaching process. That's why Glatz recommends its use.
