David Mellor was one of the greatest exponents of British design, known above all for his extraordinary cutlery sets, but he also worked on many different types of project throughout his career.

One such object is the Transit folding trolley for Magis, with its chrome-plated steel frame, injection-moulded polypropylene shelves and shiny die-cast aluminium handle, enriching even such a humble and practical object with splendid design value.
