Nani Marquina

Elena Marquina, known as Nani Marquina, was born in Barcelona in 1952. She studied industrial design at Massana School, and began her architectural projects at Sellés-Marquina in 1973.

Then she opens her own shop, Self-Décor, where she carried out interior design projects. Passionate about carpet design, she created her own company, Nanimarquina, and developed projects related to textile design. Some of her collections are on display at MoMA, and won her the National Design Award in 2005.
