Skyscraper

Architecture remains the protagonist of this reissue of the vase designed by Bodil Kjær in the early 1960's. The transparency enhances the complex geometry of the object, which is reminiscent of a skyscraper. Its statuesque form is made with the highest level of craftsmanship, using a particularly complex glass processing. Skyscraper is made of transparent glass mechanically pressed inside a cast iron mold to reproduce the shape of a building and its precious architectural details, an extremely complex process given the great thickness of the glass.
