The Dining Height Side Chair Wood Base (DSW) by Charles and Ray Eames combines an organically shaped seat shell with a four-legged wooden base. This combination of plastic and wood gives this classic design a warm look and relaxed charm.
The seat shell is made from 100% recyclable recycled RE polypropylene, with a seat cushion screwed to the underside. The white 04 version cannot be made from the new RE material, but will continue to be produced in conventional polypropylene. Like the seat shells of the Eames Plastic Side Chair RE, the white version is 100% recyclable at the end of its life. Due to the composition of the RE recycled material, the colours of the RE polypropylene seat shell may show very subtle pigment stains.

In the same series: the DSW Eames Plastic Side Chair is available without seat cushion (art. 440 305 00) or with full seat upholstery covered in fabric, attached to the shell with a strap (art. 440 307 00). These two versions offer different combinations of hull and/or cladding colours.
Wood origin: ash (Fraxinus excelsior) and maple (Acer platanoides) from Western Europe and/or Poland.
