"The Eames Desk Unit (EDU) was established by Charles and Ray Eames in accordance with the principles of industrial mass production. The panels serve as a cover and partial protection for the two storage compartments. The desk is adjustable in height to adapt to uneven floors.
Table top: Laminated wood with birch veneer (Poland and Finland).
Metal surfaces: black epoxy finish.
Panels: aluminium with epoxy finish.
Shelves: maple plywood with birch veneer front (Poland and Finland), clear varnish.
Legs: height-adjustable.
Use: only recommended for domestic use."
