Designed between 1995 and 1996, the Maui chair was at the heart of conceptual research in the 1990s and represents the first example of a new era of unibody chairs made of a material that had no ribs, no projecting lines, no metal support or reinforcement structure to support the backrest. In 2012, Kartell makes it even more attractive, both in terms of style and price, by also offering it in a fabric version (Kvadrat and Trevira), with or without wheels and armrests. The company thus completes a range rich in chromatic and functional variants that can meet the specific requirements of both the residential and contract space sectors.
