Eames Plastic Stool RE | Medium

The Eames Plastic Stools, available in two heights, Medium (67 cm) and High (79.5 cm), continue the legacy of the Plastic Chairs, designed by Charles and Ray Eames as the first industrially manufactured plastic chairs. Their organic shells can be adapted to different types of base, combining functionality and style.

The shells of these stools are made from tinted polypropylene, and from 1 January 2024 they will be made from 100% recyclable RE polypropylene in all colours except white (White 04), which will continue to be made from conventional polypropylene. Due to the nature of the recycled material, there may be slight pigment variations in the shades of the RE polypropylene shells.

For outdoor use, the stools are fitted with epoxy-finished legs and basic glides, suitable for temporary or seasonal use. It is recommended that they are cleaned and stored in a dry, sheltered place after prolonged exposure to the elements to maintain their quality and prevent deterioration.
