Designed by Poul Henningsen according to his renowned three-shade system, the PH 2/1 provides soft, even and glare-free illumination. Its white opal glass shade directs the light downwards while creating a comfortable ambient glow throughout the room.
For the first time, the PH 2/1 is also available with a gloss-coloured aluminium frame, offering a lighter construction while preserving the identity of the original design. The original finishes remain available, while these new versions expand the collection. This evolution also introduces several improvements, including a textile cord, an enhanced switch, a rubber pad beneath the base for easier maintenance and a redesigned glass diffuser that provides an even more uniform light distribution.
