Kartell pays tribute to one of the most iconic pieces in its history by reissuing the armchair designed by Joe Colombo, a true symbol of 1960s design. Originally made of wood – a rarity in the Kartell collection – this armchair has long been considered a rare piece, highly sought after at auctions dedicated to 20th-century design.

Thanks to technical advances, Kartell is now able to faithfully reproduce the curved, fluid silhouette of the original model using transparent or solid-coloured PMMA. This contemporary material offers a new interpretation of the piece, highlighting the purity of its lines and its sculptural construction while adding strength and lightness.

This reissue is available in a numbered series, in three versions — transparent, white or black — each of which highlights the chair's curves and graphic presence in its own way.
