Uncle Jim | Armchair

The Uncle collection, designed by Philippe Starck for Kartell, is characterised by soft, enveloping lines that combine comfort and modernity. The Uncle Jim armchair echoes the fluid aesthetics of the Uncle Jack sofa in a more compact format, ideal for contemporary living spaces and professional environments.

Made of transparent polycarbonate, Uncle Jim plays with light and brings an airy and luminous presence. It is also available in a mass-dyed version, offering a matte opaque finish (soft touch effect) in colours such as black or white. This version provides a softer visual sensation and a particularly elegant look.

The armchair is finally available in painted thermoplastic technopolymer, a more expressive opaque finish that perfectly matches the Uncle Jack Liberty sofa (graphic version), creating a visually coherent and contemporary ensemble.

Thanks to the variety of materials and the purity of its design, Uncle Jim fits easily into a living room, lounge area, reception area or contract projects requiring iconic and versatile seating.
