Plant inspiration for this beautiful Sequoia stool designed by the Norwegian studio Anderssen & Voll. The division of the structure into two separate tubes evokes a branch growing from a tree trunk. Sequoia has a clean profile, fine, assertive lines that evoke a calligraphic character. The wide footrest takes the form of a small podium that allows for great freedom of movement. The seat has the same shape as the footrest, creating a subtle play of symmetry and giving the whole a perfect harmony. The assembly of the different parts is inspired by the technique used to assemble bicycle frames.
