EVO-C is a successful and flawless implementation of the principle and characteristics of the classic plastic cantilever chair. Thanks to today's gas injection moulding technology, plastic structures can achieve the proven strength and rigidity of cantilevered tubular steel constructions. The supporting structure consists of hollow tubular elements that fit perfectly into the flat surfaces of the seat and backrest.
Jasper Morrison's aim was to dispense with all superfluous details: the shape of the EVO-C chair, made entirely of 100% recyclable polypropylene, is defined by the factors that are essential to guarantee stability and comfort. It combines the flexibility of tubular steel with the comfort of an ergonomic seat shell.
