Michele De Lucchi, Giancarlo Fassina

Michele de Lucchi is an Italian architect and designer, born in 1951 in Ferrara. After studying in Padua and at the University of Florence, he worked in the Kartell design studio. His meeting with Ettore Sottsass led him to join the “Memphis” Group. Working mainly on everyday furniture creations, he created the First chair, a huge success. He has been awarded several times and received a Golden Compass.
