Harry Bertoia

Arieto Bertoia known as Harry Bertoia is an Italian sculptor and designer naturalized American. In 1939 he opened his ironworks, and devoted himself to the production and working of metals. In 1950 he founded his own design studio and collaborated with Hans and Florence Knoll. He designed the famous Diamond Chair for them, which was a huge success. Also known for his sound sculptures and public sculptures, Harry Bertoia left a great legacy behind him.
