Eero Saarinen

Designer

Eero Saarinen was born in 1910 in Finland and lived most of his life in the United States following the migration of his family in 1923. As a graduate in architecture from Yale University, he has developed buildings with very heterogeneous styles and forms.

Also interested in furniture, he designed the famous Tulip Chair for the New York company Knoll. He received the Museum of Modern Art Award in 1969 for his creation.
