Achille Castiglioni

Designer

Achille Castiglioni Italian designer born in Milan in 1918, graduated in architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan and collaborated with his brothers in their design studio. On one hand, he developed objects for industrialists, and on the other hand, he taught design at the Polytechnic School of Turin and Milan, having a profound influence on a generation of Italian designers. Rewarded with seven Golden compass, some of his creations remain classics and are exhibited in many countries.

Polished, nickel-plated, and zapon-varnished stamped sheet metal reflector painted gloss-white inside. Black painted, injection-moulded ABS ceiling fitting and rose.
