Leaning back, for a quiet chat

Abachus is a high table with an extra touch: when standing, you can lean on one of its six arms. Abachus is perfect for those occasions when a seated dinner is too formal and you want your guests to feel comfortable. Thanks to its solid design and carefully selected materials, it is perfectly capable of withstanding all weather conditions. The small hooks under the table allow you to hang your bag or coat, while the optional integrated ashtray ensures a clean environment. As the ultimate option, Abachus can be combined perfectly with the Inumbrina 250cm parasol. Published images: Indicative of finishes.

About the wood:

Iroko is an African tropical hardwood. The high quality of this wood makes it possible to produce large one-piece segments for table tops. Its colour and characteristics are similar to those of teak. Extremis works with suppliers who have their own timber concessions and supply only the best quality Iroko hardwood. Continuous monitoring throughout the chain of custody guarantees sustainable exploitation. Like all wood, Iroko gradually becomes rough and greyish due to exposure to sun and rain; small cracks and fissures may also appear as part of this development. Extremis strongly recommends treating the furniture annually with a wood preservative. The natural oil protects the wood from moisture and spills, making it more stable over time and keeping stains to a minimum.

Extremis Hellwood: European ash wood that has been through purgatory to arm it against all kinds of hellish trials. And there are more than enough of them: UV rays, rain and acid rain, fluctuations in humidity, frost, extreme heat, etc. The Extremis preservation process gives the fibres greater internal stability and increases their resistance to decay. This results in a type of wood that belongs to durability class I, just like the best tropical wood.
An interesting side effect of the process is the dark colour of the wood. Like all wood, Hellwood gradually becomes rough and greyish due to exposure to sun and rain; small cracks and fissures can also appear as part of this evolution. Extremis strongly recommends treating furniture annually with a wood preservative solution. The natural oil protects the wood from moisture and spills, making it more stable over time and keeping stains superficial.

* PEFC wood: PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) is an international NGO that promotes the protection and sustainable management of forests worldwide. Created in 1999 and present in nearly 50 countries, this certification is the leading source of certified wood in the world.

* FSC® certified wood: Comes from sustainably managed forests, and each stage of the wood chain is controlled on three levels: social, ecological and economic. These labels are not a guarantee of quality, but they do ensure that we get environmentally responsible, socially beneficial and economically viable wood.
