The Series 7™ chair is an icon of modern furniture history, designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1955. Its unique form is timeless and incredibly versatile, displaying character without dominating the eye.
The chair is made from 9 layers of die-cast veneer for strength, flexibility and durability despite its slender form. It is the most popular model in the Fritz Hansen chair collection.
The 3197 bar stool features a four-sided tubular steel footrest attached to the elongated legs, preserving the visual harmony of the chair's simple, uncluttered construction. It was launched in 2005 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 7 Series design.
