Launched in 1999, La Marie represents a major advance in contemporary design: one of the first completely transparent chairs made from a single piece of moulded polycarbonate. Designed by Philippe Starck, it captivates with its minimalist design, formal purity and almost immaterial lightness.
Its transparent, impact-resistant polycarbonate structure is the result of sophisticated work on the material, giving it a rare combination of strength and finesse. Thanks to its narrow format, La Marie fits easily into small spaces or around tables where every centimetre counts, while maintaining an airy visual presence.
