Hyg Chair Full Upholstery Steel

Designer Simon Legald has created the Hyg furniture series. When the series was launched in 2018, it consisted of a 2-seater sofa, lounge chairs and a footrest. In 2020, the range expands with a chair and bar stool that share the characteristics of the lounge series: generous, organic curves designed with an emphasis on sublime comfort.

The hygge concept is synonymous with well-being - safety, warmth and comfort are all part of its DNA, and it is precisely these qualities that make up the Hyg collection. With the new models, the range - and comfort - expands further, and new possibilities emerge for creating environments that are consistent with dining and living areas.

"The moments when we sit down together, dive into conversation and share a meal - for me, that's when the hygge feeling really peaks. So it seemed natural that the Hyg range should also provide the setting for such moments. The hygge feeling is not just about the visual experience of the design; it lies in the overall sensual experience. A lot of effort has gone into sculpting the form to offer rest and support to the human body, to make it comfortable to sit on, essentially." Simon Legald tells us.
