Funiculí S | Table lamp

For Lluís Porqueras, design meant eliminating the superfluous until all that was left was an essential object: beautiful, useful and simple. This is the case with the Funiculí, a lamp dating from 1979 that Marset reissued in 2013 and which has become an emblem of the collection.

Lightweight, it takes up virtually no space and can be used as a mood lamp or as direct light, depending on how the beam is directed. Its designer has freed up the lampshade to give it maximum mobility. It can rotate 360 degrees to focus the light where you want it, and also has a double clamp system for height adjustment.

For Funiculí, forty years is nothing: it has stood the test of time and is now available in new colours that further extend its possibilities. The new colours are intense. They emphasise the shapes of the Funiculí and bring chromatism to the space.
