The Ethnicraft Outdoor collection is designed to adapt to a variety of climatic conditions. The choice of teak, a very dense wood, is ideal for outdoor use. As the furniture adapts to its environment, however, it is normal for cracks to appear or for a slight gap to develop between the pieces.
This natural teak range has not been finished or treated to protect it. Over time, untreated furniture naturally takes on a grey tint due to prolonged exposure to sun and rain. This discolouration is perfectly normal and superficial: it in no way affects the strength or quality of the wood.
For the black teak range, the wood is brushed and varnished with a tinted stain. This finish has been specifically developed to withstand the elements, including very high and very low temperatures, UV rays and humidity. Despite this treatment, a change in colour is perfectly normal: it in no way affects the strength or quality of the wood.
