Designed by Ico Parisi for Cassina, Palpebra is a reinterpretation of one of the designer’s original projects, developed in collaboration with the Archivio di Design Ico Parisi. Its design evokes the movement of an eyelid: the upper shutter opens and closes via a sophisticated rotating mechanism that also allows the light beam to be directed.
Fitted with a capacitive switch, it allows the light intensity to be adjusted by applying gradual pressure or a light touch across several pre-set levels. Available in a range of colours, it emits a warm light thanks to its integrated LED light source.
