The VL45 Radiohus has been reinvented with the introduction of two new refined colours, Brilliant Pale Yellow and Brilliant Amber. These two colours enhance the existing palette, which already includes Opal White and Pale Pink. These new styling options bring a touch of warmth and modernity to any interior.

One of the special features of Pale Yellow and Amber is their ability to metamorphose depending on the lighting conditions. When they are switched off, they have deep, elegant tones. When lit, they reveal a new luminous dimension, offering a softer, warmer and more enveloping light. These suspended luminaires become veritable works of light, capable of changing the mood in an instant.

These new versions of the VL45 Radiohus feature untreated brushed brass fittings, which develop a natural patina over time. This finish adds a warm, authentic dimension to the suspension, while reinforcing its artisanal character. The fine, pure lines of the brass enhance the simplicity of the design while adding a touch of exclusivity to the luminaire. The new colours (pale yellow and amber) are available exclusively in sizes ∅17.5 cm and ∅25 cm.

An iconic and timeless design: The VL45 Radiohus Pendant made a comeback in 2016 under this name, faithful to the original design conceived in the 1940s by the famous Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen, in collaboration with Louis Poulsen. Initially created to illuminate the Radio House - Radiohuset - in Copenhagen, it has become an iconic model of Danish design.

Scrupulously respecting the original design, the suspension lamp is distinguished by its use of noble, durable materials. Its brass support and three-layer blown glass shade give it an unrivalled elegance. The inner and outer layers are made of transparent polished glass, while the middle layer is made of opaline white glass, ensuring soft, even light diffusion.

For 2019, the collection has been expanded to include a new, smaller size, offering a wider range of configurations and uses in different types of interiors. This choice makes it possible to adapt to a variety of spaces, whether residential or professional.
