The Trama carafe, designed by Patricia Urquiola for Kartell, captures the spirit of the collection by transposing its graphic language to a piece dedicated to serving drinks.
Made of thermoplastic technopolymer, transparent or dyed throughout, it features a finely crafted surface that creates subtle plays of light and recalls the refined textures of Japanese ceramics — the central inspiration for the Trama series.
Lightweight, durable and easy to handle, the carafe has a slender, contemporary silhouette, ideal for serving water, juice or cold drinks on a daily basis. Its controlled transparency and discreet reflections make it as much a visual object as a functional one, capable of blending in equally well on a formal table or in a more informal setting.
While the plates in the collection evoke the roughness of traditional pottery, the Trama carafe offers a smoother and more luminous interpretation, emphasising the consistency of the design while adding a distinctive and elegant touch to the table.
