Published to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Verner Panton (1926–1998), the Series 7™ – Verner Panton 100 pays tribute to the creative dialogue between two major figures in Danish design: Arne Jacobsen and Verner Panton. This special edition reintroduces four iconic colours from the palette developed by Panton in the 1970s.
Each colour – yellow, orange, red and brown – is faithfully reproduced from Verner Panton's original archives, based on his reference colour chart (1972–1988). These warm, expressive tones give the Series 7™ a strong visual presence, while respecting the formal balance and iconic silhouette of the model.
A former collaborator in Arne Jacobsen's studio, Verner Panton went on to develop a unique approach to design, marked by experimentation with form and exploration of colour psychology. Invited by Fritz Hansen in the 1970s to revisit the Series 7™, he infused this classic with a bold and emotional new energy. Fifty years later, this edition celebrates the shared heritage of these two designers and the enduring power of colour in design.
Special edition available until 31 December 2026. Any orders placed after this date may not be fulfilled and will be subject to a full refund.
