The Rely HW118 and HW123 stools by &Tradition, designed by Danish designer Hee Welling, are a variation on the Rely chair, originally designed as a versatile and durable seat, in a high version designed for contemporary kitchens and bar areas. Their lacquered wooden base, available in oak or walnut, adds a natural warmth that enriches the clean, balanced aesthetic of the range.
The seat consists of a 100% recycled polypropylene shell reinforced with fibreglass, characterised by soft, minimalist lines. Its slightly curved design offers comfortable support while maintaining a light visual appearance, in keeping with Hee Welling's functional and rational approach.
Available in two heights, Rely stools can be adapted to different uses: the HW118 model, with a seat height of 65 cm, is generally suitable for kitchen worktops or islands of around 92 to 95 cm, while the HW123, with a seat height of 75 cm, is most often suitable for counters and bar tops of around 102 to 105 cm.
