Piero Lissoni's Mex-Hi seating system consists of five different sized planes to which the independent cushions of the armrests, seats and backs are attached. The large, comfortable volumes are raised from the ground by a tubular steel structure, equipped with elastic straps, which is attached to the freestanding table and the footstool/side table from the same collection. The Mex-Hi sofa is born from the collaboration between the Cassina Research and Development Center and the Poli.design of the Politecnico of Milan, made with innovative materials to make it comfortable and more sensitive to the environment.Mex-Hi has a contemporary style that offers the possibility of inserting it in different contexts, making the space always elegant and original.
