Dive into the history of design with Little Petra, which made its first appearance in 1938. When it was exhibited at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild, this exceptional creation immediately attracted attention and won awards at exhibitions in New York and Berlin.

It is one of the rare creations by architect Viggo Boesen, who associated himself with the Danish aesthetic of the 1930s, the funkis style. Little Petra is surprisingly small, able to adapt to all kinds of spaces, interiors and environments. Flush with the floor, open and enveloping, Little Petra VB1 embodies the essence of a small lounge chair, allowing all kinds of seating positions in every comfortable environment imaginable.

Architect Viggo Boesen's work reflects the Scandinavian "Funkis" style, a Nordic version of Art Deco. In contrast to the mass-produced materials and 'less is more' approach of the Bauhaus school of thought, Boesen brought a soft, warm and almost naïve aspect to design, pioneering new forms of upholstered furniture.

Production process :
The frame is made from solid beech and plywood, then covered with HR foam and polyester wadding. The solid wood legs are CNC turned and milled.
