The AALAND collection, created by designer Patricia Urquiola, is inspired by island landscapes, where archipelagos create a natural harmony between closely spaced islands, offering a sense of cohesion in a fluid and constantly evolving space. This bold and organic concept is reflected in each piece in the collection, with soft, curved shapes that extend and merge, forming small ‘islands’ that reinvent comfort and conviviality in our interiors.

Far from the classic forms of upholstered furniture, AALAND offers an innovative vision with seating of unexpected volumes, in free and multifunctional forms. These pieces are designed to connect and intertwine, creating a coherent whole rather than isolated elements. Sofas, armchairs and poufs of various sizes are modular and mobile elements that can be moved and rearranged as needed to provide a flexible space that is ideal for socialising.

Each seat in the collection, designed in compact dimensions, becomes an integral part of a fluid landscape, inviting exchange and relaxation. The aesthetics of the collection are extended with AALAND rugs, available in three sizes, featuring a unique motif: two rounded organic shapes, connected by a graphic sign in the shape of a suture. This creative motif adds a striking visual touch, emphasising the harmony between the pieces while enriching the atmosphere of the surrounding space.
