The Tripod HM8 floor lamp, originally designed in 1953 by Hvidt & Mølgaard, has been reissued in 2024 to incorporate contemporary innovations while preserving its iconic minimalist design.
The new version of the HM8 Tripod floor lamp features a swivel joint for the shade, enhancing its functionality to offer flexible light direction, responding to modern lighting needs while respecting the original minimalist style. With its lacquered steel structure and brass details, which balance the rigour of the design with the gentle curves of its base, this floor lamp adds a touch of elegance to any interior.

Production process:
The lampshade is made from a single piece of aluminium and attached to the base using a rotary joint. The base is made from bent steel tubes welded together. The lamp is lacquered in a satin matt finish, while the shade and rotating joint are in brass.
