The HM9 table lamp, designed by Hvidt & Mølgaard and reissued in 2024 by & Tradition, revisits the classic aesthetic of the famous 1953 Tripod floor lamp, while incorporating contemporary touches. Made from lacquered steel with delicate brass finishes, this design strikes a perfect balance between pure simplicity and refined elegance. Designed to adapt to aesthetic trends without being tied to specific colours, the HM9 remains true to its iconic heritage while offering an elegant and functional lighting solution that complements a variety of spaces.
Production process:
The HM9 lampshade is fashioned from a single piece of aluminium and is attached to the base by a rotating joint, allowing the light to be directed flexibly. The base, made from bent and welded steel tubes, is finished with a satin matte lacquer, while the brass shade and gasket provide a bright contrast.
