The Plastic Chair by Charles and Ray Eames is available in a wide range of bases, making it possible to find the right model for the most diverse situations and locations. The Pivot Side Chair Cast Base on Castors (PSCC) is ideal for a home office. It offers great seating comfort thanks to its organic swivel shell with suspension and infinite height adjustment.
The seat shell, made from 100% recyclable recycled RE polypropylene, is complemented here by a fully upholstered seat: a fully upholstered interior made from moulded polyurethane foam, covered with fabric attached to the shell with a loop. The white version (white 04) cannot be made from the new RE material and will continue to be produced in conventional polypropylene. Like the seat shells of the Eames Plastic Side Chair PSCC RE, the white version is 100% recyclable at the end of its life. Due to the composition of the RE recycled material, the colours of the RE polypropylene seat shell may show very subtle pigment stains.
