A design icon created by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1962, the Taccia embodies a bold and timeless vision of indirect lighting.
Conceived as an inverted spotlight, it diffuses a soft, reflected light into the space, creating a subtle and enveloping atmosphere. Its wide reflector interacts with an adjustable diffuser made of mouth-blown clear glass, allowing the direction and quality of the light to be precisely adjusted.
The balance between its materials — aluminium, glass and nickel-plated steel — gives it a strong architectural presence, both technical and sculptural. Every detail reflects industrial mastery in the service of a lasting aesthetic.
Equipped with a built-in dimmer, Taccia offers smooth adjustment of light intensity from 10% to 100%, naturally adapting to the different times of day. Its long cable and interchangeable plug power supply enhance its flexibility of use, in both residential and professional spaces.
