Remaining true to the visionary spirit of the Castiglioni brothers, the Taccia is presented here in a contemporary version where the material itself becomes a key element of the design.

Its adjustable diffuser in transparent PMMA replaces the blown glass to offer a lighter, more technical interpretation of the original icon. This evolution brings a more refined visual presence, whilst retaining the precision of light diffusion that is the model’s signature.

The light, projected towards the reflector and then reflected back into the space, creates controlled indirect lighting, ideal for shaping an atmosphere without glare. The contrast between the transparency of the PMMA and the solidity of the aluminium reinforces the balance between innovation and heritage.

Designed for contemporary use, this version stands out for its robustness and versatility, whilst retaining the architectural elegance characteristic of Taccia.
