"The French designer and engineer Jean Prouvé created the Guéridon round wooden table in 1949 for the University of Paris. It is available in two sizes and in different species of precious wood.
Table top: oiled solid wood; natural oak, smoked oak or American walnut.
Legs: legs to match the table top; oiled solid wood, natural oak, smoked oak or American walnut; tubular steel crossbar with epoxy finish.

Origin of wood: oak (Quercus robur) from Western Europe and/or Poland; American walnut (Juglans nigra) from the United States".
