The Cité armchair is one of the first masterpieces by the French designer and engineer. Originally designed for the rooms of the university campus in Nancy, Prouvé himself used this comfortable and generous armchair in his living room, with its powder-coated steel runners and armrests formed by leather straps.
Upholstery: seat and backrest upholstered in fabric or leather in one piece.
Padding: height-adjustable headrest in polyurethane foam.
Seat height: 335 mm (210 mm with applied load, measured in accordance with EN 1335-1).
Base: folded sheet steel, epoxy finish (smooth).
Glides: equipped with plastic glides for carpets; felt glides for hard floors available as an option.
