Simplicity of lines and lightweight volumes are the expressive key of the range of STEP bookcases designed by Nendo, able to harmonise and blend in naturally with the entire collection. The new design relaxes the tension existing in the usual horizontal shelves and offers a further advantage: each shelf can also act as a bookend for books placed on the adjacent shelf. The idea of the design can be compared to that applied for homes.
