Jean Prouvé created the first version of the Potence wall lamp for his own home in Nancy in the 1940s: a simple bulb attached to a long swivel steel bar held by a steel wire. This sleek and functional creation was quickly produced in various sizes, with an extra handle on the larger models to facilitate the pivoting movement. Petite Potence has similar proportions to the large Potence model, its compact dimensions being ideal for small interiors. The swing arm is 103 cm long, with an epoxy finish in colours derived from the original shades used by Prouvé. The cable is sheathed in a high quality textile cover and the LED bulb is variable. Thanks to its minimalist aesthetics, Petite Potence is an ideal lighting solution for a wide variety of environments, from dining rooms and lounges to offices and cafés.
