PH 5 Mini – The luminous icon in a compact format.
Created in 2017, the PH 5 Mini faithfully reproduces the iconic design conceived by Poul Henningsen in 1958, in a more compact version, ideal for small spaces or serial compositions. Designed according to the same triple shade principle, it offers a soft, comfortable and totally glare-free light, while subtly illuminating its own structure.
With an upper shade of approximately 30 cm, the PH 5 Mini remains true to Henningsen's unique approach, based on a scientific study of light. Inspired by the logarithmic spiral, its shape guarantees an even distribution of light, while eliminating bothersome shadows and glare.
In 2020, Louis Poulsen expanded the collection with the PH 5 Mini Monochrome series, which highlights the sculptural design of the luminaire in a bold version with matte shades. Available in black, white or ultra blue, this contemporary version asserts a more graphic aesthetic while retaining the essence of the original design.
As elegant on its own as in a series, the PH 5 Mini embodies Poul Henningsen's luminous intelligence in a format designed for today's interiors.
