The Panthella 160 portable table lamp by Louis Poulsen is a cordless version of one of the most popular products designed by Verner Panton. Verner Panton wanted to create a lamp where both the base and the shade acted as reflectors. The light source of the Panthella lamp is hidden beneath the hemispherical metal shade, which directs the light towards its trumpet-shaped base.
This not only gives the lamp a recognisable, balanced silhouette, but also contributes to the distribution of light thanks to the reflections on the metal surface. First introduced in 1971, the Panthella luminaire is now considered a classic of Danish design and is available in a range of sizes and colours.
Discover the new V3 version, an evolution of the V2 model. Designed for those looking for a sleek, contemporary design, the V3 incorporates improvements while remaining true to the minimalist spirit of the collection. Unlike the V2 model, the V3 version is not available in metallic materials, which are exclusive to the V2 for those who appreciate robustness and a classic metallic finish.
Panthella 160 portable is an indoor lamp (IP44 rating). It can be used outdoors, but must be kept and stored indoors.
