Designed by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby (2011/2020), the Tip Ton RE combines ergonomics, durability and contemporary design. Its name, Tip Ton, refers to its characteristic dual position, combining comfort and functionality.

Made entirely from post-consumer recycled plastic, it is eco-responsible while offering a dynamic sitting posture thanks to its characteristic forward tilt. Lightweight, stackable and versatile, it is equally at home in the office, combining minimalist aesthetics with optimum comfort.

RE version: Post-consumer plastic refers to plastic materials, often single-use waste, previously used by consumers before being reprocessed to make a new product. The post-consumer plastics used by Vitra leave the factory as finished packaging, are purchased by consumers and then disposed of through the German ‘Yellow Bag’ system before being reprocessed into new raw materials.

Outdoor use: suitable for temporary or seasonal outdoor use, in accordance with care instructions. After prolonged exposure to the elements, clean and store in a sheltered, dry place to ensure long-lasting use and avoid any visible deterioration.
