Q/Wood is part of the innovative approach of the Smart Wood collection, where extremely thin sheets of wood are curved into three-dimensional shapes to create a fluid form with no visual breaks.
Certified wood species – notably beech and ash – are selected for their stability, flexibility and natural appearance. This process, at the heart of the ‘Kartell Loves the Planet’ project, promotes the controlled use of resources while respecting the nobility of the material. The 3D bending reveals the continuity of the grain and creates a shell that is robust, lightweight and ergonomic.
Available in light or dark finishes depending on the wood species chosen, Q/Wood combines advanced bending technology with the natural expression of wood. Its fixed seat pad, available in mass-dyed thermoplastic technopolymer or Aquaclean® fabric, makes it a contemporary and versatile solution, suitable for both private spaces and professional environments.
