Eames Plastic Side Chair | DSS-N upholstered seat cushion

Several versions of the robust Plastic Chairs by Charles and Ray Eames are particularly suitable for public spaces and communities: the DSS-N model (Dining Height Side Chair Stacking Base Non-Link) can be stacked with 8 seats on the floor or on a stacking trolley.

The seat shell is made from 100% recyclable recycled RE polypropylene, with a seat cushion screwed to the underside. The white version (white 04), which cannot be made from the new RE material, will continue to be produced in conventional polypropylene. Like the seat shells of the Eames Plastic Side Chair RE, the white version is 100% recyclable at the end of its life. Due to the composition of the RE recycled material, the colours of the RE polypropylene seat shell may show very subtle pigment stains.
