"Because of the slim organic shapes of its seat and back shells, Charles and Ray Eames' LCM (Lounge Chair Metal) quickly earned the nickname "potato chip chair".
Seat / back: moulded plywood with ash or walnut veneer. Upholstery: Thin foam upholstery, covered with leather (LCW Leather) or calf skin (LCW Calf's Skin).
Legs: tubular steel, chrome-plated or powder-coated. Seat and backrest of the seats connected to the base by rubber and metal elements (shock
