The Tolomeo lamp, designed by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina in 1987, is an icon of Italian design, embodying a perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality. With its clean lines and polished aluminium structure, it combines lightness and robustness for a modern, sophisticated look.

Its polished aluminium articulated arm system, with ball-and-socket joints and spring balancing mechanism, allows precise height adjustment (from 103 cm to 226 cm) and tilting. The anodised aluminium diffuser can be adjusted in all directions, providing direct light emission, ideal for office work or precision work.

The Tolomeo Floor, a variation on the original version, uses the same articulated body mounted on a floor structure for elegant, adaptable lighting. The reading lamp version, with its painted aluminium diffuser and steel base, combines design and functionality for flexible lighting in a variety of environments. An adjustable mounting system is also available, allowing two lamp bodies to be mounted on the same base for an even more customised solution.

This version with a removable E27 bulb offers the flexibility of customisable lighting, and differs from the Tolomeo LED Floor in that the bulb can be easily chosen and changed.
