Due to the low centre of gravity of the cast iron legs, the epoc table is ideal for furnishing bistros, as they are known in Switzerland. Screwed to the table by means of a small T, they do not require spacers. This way, no table legs stand in the way and it is easy to get in and out of the table. The legs are manufactured in the Chur foundry using the sand casting process, which is suitable for complex geometries and different material cross-sections and also allows even small details to be reproduced. Each foot is treated with anthracite lacquer and bears the lettering "horgenglarus". The cast iron feet in horgenglarus are very popular on the vintage market. The 30 mm thick table tops are made to measure in solid wood of your choice (also square wood). In order to maintain the flatness of the tabletop permanently when the wood shrinks or expands, a stop profile is inserted in a groove, an ancestral principle that dates back to the 17th century.
