Taking inspiration from the classic, shiny drainpipes of Copenhagen architecture, the Pipe Pitcher interprets the classic dishware object in a simple cylindrical form. The pipe consists of a cylinder that tapers slightly at the neck, providing a stylish and functional spout, while a convenient handle makes the pitcher easy to hold when pouring. Designer Simon Legald was inspired by the way drainpipes are designed to conduct water in the way they do. Since the fundamental function of a pitcher is to direct water, the design uses the same principles of drain pipes, tapering at the spout to create an ideal flow for the beverage it contains. The stainless steel pitcher features a highly polished surface treatment, making it an eye-catching element in any table setting. Pipe Pitcher holds 1.2 liters of any desirable beverage.
